BROWZ_BY_MARIA ("we", "us") runs browzbymaria.com and offers microblading services in Toledo, Ohio. This page explains what information we collect when you use our website, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

  • Booking details you give us. Name, email, phone number, appointment time, and answers to the intake form when you book through our scheduling provider.
  • Payment details. Deposits and payments are processed by our payment providers. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
  • Messages. Anything you send us by email, phone, text, or Facebook Messenger.
  • Website activity. Pages viewed, buttons tapped, device and browser type, approximate location from your IP address, and the ad you arrived from. Some of this is collected with cookies and similar tools described below.

How we use it

  • To schedule, confirm, reschedule, and provide your appointment.
  • To take deposits and payments and send receipts.
  • To answer your questions and send appointment reminders and aftercare instructions.
  • To understand how our website and ads perform and to show you relevant ads.
  • To keep our website secure and to meet legal obligations.

Cookies and advertising

We use the Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API on our website. These tools let Meta (Facebook and Instagram) measure whether our ads lead to visits and bookings, and help us show ads to people likely to be interested. They collect information such as the pages you view, the actions you take (for example tapping a booking button or completing a booking), your IP address, browser information, and cookie identifiers. We do not send Meta your name, email, or appointment details through these tools.

You can control ad personalization in your Facebook ad preferences and limit tracking through your browser or device settings. Blocking cookies may affect parts of the site.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed for them to do so:

  • Acuity Scheduling (Squarespace) for online booking and reminders.
  • Stripe and our scheduling provider's payment processing for deposits and payments.
  • Meta Platforms for ad measurement and advertising, as described above.
  • Vercel, which hosts this website.
  • Google, for maps, directions, and reviews.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information if required by law or to protect our rights and safety.

How long we keep it

We keep booking and intake records for as long as you are a client and as long as needed for health, safety, tax, and legal purposes. Advertising data is kept according to Meta's retention settings.

Your choices

  • Ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it.
  • Opt out of marketing messages at any time by replying or contacting us.
  • Adjust cookie and ad settings in your browser, device, and Meta account.

Children

Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
